Podcast Tutorial
Overview
Podcasting is a way to receive audio files over the Internet by using feeds to deliver the audio broadcasts directly to your desktop. You can listen to the files on your computer or load them on your MP3 player and take them with you.
GETTING SET UP
To get started, all you need is podcasting software. Once you download and install the software, you add the podcast feed. The podcasting software will automatically check for updates and download the files to your computer. Follow these links to download podcast software:

You will need podcatcher software in order to subscribe to the above feed. There are several freely available programs for this, including:
To subscribe to a podcast in iTunes, follow these steps:
- Use your mouse to Copy the "Quick Link" above (or right-click the "Subscribe" link and choose Copy Shortcut). Do not click on the link. If you do, you'll see a page full of code. Just click your back button and try again.
- In iTunes, go to the Advanced menu option and select “Subscribe to a Podcast…”
- Paste the Quick Link from step 1 into the dialog box, and click the “OK” button.
Subscribe to Third Day Podcasts
Step 1: Open or download itunes and select Podcasts
Step 2: Click the Advanced tab and select Subscribe to Podcast
Step 3: Input the Third Day Programming feed url - http://www.raisethestandard.org/thirddayliving/podcast.xml
