revolution Youth and Young Adults

Revolution is a ministry committed to mobilizing young people to transform their generation by making real to them the life of Christ. Our purpose is to speak to the youth generation in a language that they understand, using dance, drama, media, and video presentations together with anointed praise and preaching to declare the power of living as a follower of Christ.

Along with sports events, road trips and hanging out in our state of the art 'Rave' room, we talk about real issues faced by youth today. From media saturation to sexualized entertainment to point and click pornography, this generation is confronted with big challenges. But instead of hiding from these challenges, our goal is to inspire young people to engage the culture, question the messages that are being sent to them and stand for truth.

One of the central features of our ministry is the division of our youth and young adults into various teams that produce dance and stomp presentations, dramas and illustrated sermons, media presentations, video clips and research of various elements of youth and popular culture. In these teams young people are encouraged to use their God-given talents to produce a gospel message that will resonate with their unsaved peers. As youth respond to these messages and give their hearts to Christ, we introduce them to a dynamic social environment, lead them through an intense discipleship program and inspire them to join one of the teams and contribute to future presentations.

We also believe strongly in reaching out to the surrounding community, through various activities ranging from street evangelism to garbage clean up to organizing toy drives for Christmas. Our goal is to cultivate a visible, positive image in our community that will inspire other young people to find God's purpose for their lives. One young person at a time, we are working to ignite a spiritual, moral and cultural revolution in this generation.
